San Antonio Valley, South Sonoma County, Petaluma, California
BAR-B-QUE DETAILS
Once again, our biggest annual fund raising event is the almost-world-famous Chicken BBQ on Father's Day, June 15, 2008. It is held at the Pomi Ranch, 5227 Red Hill Road. The driveway is 0.4 miles south of San Antonio Road. We will mark the entrance with signs and balloons - use caution as you turn in. Click on "map to bar-b-que" on the left side of this page for a printable Yahoo Map to the event.
Join us for the best Sunday event in the South County, complete with the most delicious bar-b-que'd chicken, salad, all the fixin's, plus Clover milk then their ice cream for dessert. Lunch is served between 12:00 Noon and 3:00 PM so be sure to arrive eary!
We are planning on the Smoke House (instructional-interactive display for the kids), Games for the budding firefighters among you, music and more. The raffle prizes are rolling in and are not to be missed. The Silent Auction last year was a huge favorite so we are doing it again this year as well. We already have some great items. You will have to see them to appreciate them.
We will be mailing raffle tickets to most of the residents in the 44 square miles we serve, along with information on reserving food tickets. Last year we sold out early, so reserve as many food tickets now as you think you'll need.
Send your order today with a check made out to "San Antonio Volunteer Fire Department".
We are still seeking donations of items for our Silent Auction. They will help improve our fund raising this year over our record-setting success of last year. All donations are fully tax-deductible as San Antonio is a registered California Non-Profit Corporation. Contact us if you can help, (707)769-0353.
